To make more of File Buddy’s capabilities available as drag&drop behaviors, File Buddy makes extensive use of drop keys, keys held down by the user at the time an item is dropped on File Buddy in the Finder. A soon as File Buddy has noticed the drop keys, the cursor will briefly change to   , at which point you can release them. Depending on the keys held down, File Buddy can take a variety of actions. See Drag & Drop Behaviors for a description of each.
Use the Drop Keys... command in the Edit menu to set the drop keys to your preferences. A drop key combination can contain from 1 to 4 keys. While most users can’t remember a lot of drop key combinations, you’ll probably be able to remember one or more for the actions you perform the most.
